Some of my snatches from tonight

I watched Natalie Woolfolk snatching and she starts from a very low position and then moves the bar on the way up. I really tried to get my ass and hips lower and seemed to snatch better for the 60 and 65kg attempts. The 67 was awful. Any views???


Here is the 67.5 which I failed

  1. at start legs straighten too fast arms don't stay locked, so pull is using arms and back

    arms bent and bar in front of and not in line with body at start of final pull

    final pull looks incomplete ie no shrug

    but i reserve the right to be completely wrong

  2. I am getting a bit frustrated with the fact that my technique doesn't seem to be improving. Difficult to shake off bad habits. Maybe I should just accept that I am destined to remain a neaderthal type lifter. In a fact life as a caveman I must have spent my time lifting rocks!!!!
