rebuilding

After an enforced layoff, I managed to get through a good bodybuilding type session today. I dont know what to do about my QWA programme after such a layoff. Dont know whether to give it a stab this weekend or leave it and start fresh in September.

  1. Start it again and dont wait until September if possible. If your reasons for an enforced lay off are still causing infrequent training try to squeeze some squat session or light technique work in to keep the feel for the lifts or the strength up.

Try to get Julys online comp total in September may be a target? Then get further improvement for Cork?

I find lifting a good way to vent my frustrations with the world at the moment. Keep at it big lad!

  3. Thanks Guys
I decided to take my family to Dublin today for a well earned rest. Got lost in Dublin then finally arrived at Phoenix park for zoo and picnic. I then managed to spill a scalding large mug of coffee onto my privates. I looked like a "down and out" who had just wet himself and needed some change for alcohol. Had to get a change of trousers and tend to my "roasted nuts!!" Then I returned to my car to find the front tyre shredded. Couldn't get the damned wheel off as the wheel seemed welded to the disc. Eventually, I risked my life trying to kick the wheel off aroung the rim. After an hour I got the spare[remould] tyre on just in time to get lost in Dublin again for an hour. Apart from that - a good day!!
Going to try Aussi prog again this weekend to see what I can do.
By the way, Southern Ireland seems to me to be the most expensive place in the world

  4. That beats the exploding red bull can in the car by a country mile!

My ex is from Dublin. One time the accelerator cable in the car snapped and I had to get her dad to come out to give my car a tow to their house. Unfortunately he did not have rope but did come with about 20-30m of electrical wiring. Needless to say the wiring kept snapping and the 4-5 mile journey took well over an hour.

Sounds like mechanic used one of those airguns to put wheel nuts on.

Look forward to reading about your progress on QWA prog
